Hey guys, I’m in the mid of a difficult choise, I’ll get a Gaui or a trex for my birthday but dont know which one is better Would you guys know what is the best one for sport flying? You should read here: The Gaui does look like an even match however gaii se has the gyro which needs a high head speed or you will get lots of tail wag.

I can not speak about gyro or servos on the Gaui.

Both these little guys are a lot of fun. If you go Align choose combo with out this gyro and add gyro of your choice.

This will make for el200 smoth start. Both these heli must be set up as near to perfect to achieve a fun flight. Hello Rafakrav I have both andthey are good however the trex does crash a lot harder due to the extra weight.

I often crashed the Gaui and simply straightened the blades up and flew on but that is not possible with the trex.

I was using a 2 cell Gaui and it was real light, affected more by the wind of course. I had an Align SE and just recently sold it to purchase a Gaui I loved the Align up front but after one crash, I just could not get the tail to stick. There is ggaui ton of play in the tail on the SE.

I have not considered the flybarless issues in the above description. Please, no one take offense by what I have said, I am not trying to insult or belittle anyone or any brand, just giving an answer to the thread based on personal experience.
